Hunger All Stars

This lady started collecting food from local grocery stores and finding people in need to take the food to. The ministry grew over the past two years, that required she and her husband, Rick to get a building to give the food out of. Almost 7,000 people were helped with free food in the month of October, in the city of Lenoir, N.C. Lenoir use to make most of the U.S. furniture; however, the furniture industry moved out and thousands of people lost their jobs in Caldwell County. I personally worked at their loclation in Lenoir this past Monday and saw hundreds line up to receive the food that the Ministry had collected to give out. I really wanted to ask if Tyson Foods could provide a refrigerated truck full of chickens to come to their building in Lenoir sometime in December to give out donated chickens. The people who came did not receive enough food to last but a day or two. I personally interviewed about 40 of these people; most who make meager earnings, are unemployed, disabled, and some having no income whatsoever. Several young mothers came in to try to get food for their children. My heart was broken when I saw all these people in need for food. Rick & Ceceilia started a church called Crossroads Community Church, they have volunteers who also cook meals to take to shut-in's. There is a great need for food in Caldwell County. Would you please consider donating chickens on a Monday in December, before Christmas! They do not have but 5 or 6 freezers in the building so a truck would have to be sent and the chickens would have to be given off the back of the truck! I am crying Help, Help, for these people! I don't know what to do but ask! Thank you for considering this worki.
